Allora come mai è così poco diffuso?
After Windows XP, Microsoft came up with a brilliant concept for a new operating system with an array of stunning new technologies. But Microsoft pushed the new operating system back, and instead put out Windows Vista, which is more or less, Windows XP, but prettier. winfs got cancelled. Now, Microsoft is rapidly losing market share of the operating system market to Apple's Mac lineup, brilliant advertising campaigns, and, quite frankly, better and more reliable technology. Note that this also affects all the computer manufacturers of Windows-based computers. This includes Dell, HP/Compaq, Acer, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony, etc. Microsoft has been working on that operating system that they pushed back (It has many code names, one of which is Windows 7). Will Microsoft be able to get back its market share? Will it bring back winfs? The fate of Microsoft, and all the manufacturers of Windows-based computers may depend on it. Over the last few weeks, Verizon has rolled out a sequence of advertisements blasting Apple and the iphone and plugging the forthcoming release of a new smart telephone called the Droid. The idroid commercials, which have aired during NFL games and the MLB playoffs, question the value of Apple's top selling phone. idon't have a genuine keyboard. idon't run simultaneous apps. idon't take night shots. idon't permit open development, reads copy posted on the idroid site. idon't customise. idon't run widgets. idon't have interchangeable batteries. Everything idon't, Droid does. The target the Apple iphone could not be more clear. And to judge by the volume of searches today and yesterday for the term idroid, the campaign is taking hold. Here's one blogger's take on the idroid spots : No visible of the 2nd copy of the Droid and not even a projected date for when it's coming. Essentially it is a warning to Apple from Verizon. Hey, this is what we got and we are giving you time to make enhancements to the iphone before the Android two comes out. According to early reports, the Droid, which draws power from Verizon Wireless, will include a full standard keyboard, a 5-megapixel electronic camera, an interchangeable battery, and a touchscreen. Back in June, Sprint took similar aim at the iphone, displaying an announcement targeting people who purchased an iphone in June 2007. As Creativity editor Chris Gaylord spotted at the time, the ad appeared to hearken back to the '80s Sega commercial Genesis does what Nintendon't. ezlink.me
