Peter Frampton's performance at Burt Sugarman's Midnight Special, circa 1975. This is the full version, unlike the other ones floating around, with the end missing
I wonder how you're feeling There's ringing in my ears And no one to relate to 'cept the sea Who can I believe in I'm kneeling on the floor There has to be a force who do I phone The stars are out and shining, but all I really want to know... Oh won't you show me the way I want you ...show me the way Well, I can see no reason You living on your nerves When someone drops a cup and I submerge I'm swimming in a circle I feel I'm going down There has to be a fool to play my part Well someone thought of healing, but all I really want to know... Oh won't you show me the way (everyday) I want you ...show me the way I want you day after day I wonder if I'm dreaming I feel so unashamed I can't believe this is happening to me I watch you when you're sleeping, and then I want to take your love Oh won't you show me the way (everyday) I want you ...show me the way I want you day after day Oh won't you show me the way (everyday) I want you ...show me the way I want you day after day

Be Sure to click "watch in high quality" or else the video will not be very clear. Peter Frampton Live July 12, 2008 in Santa Maria California, at the Santa Barbara County Fair And yes, Peter did ask for an Egg Roll on a Stick with Teriyaki through his talk box (there was a chinese food trailer nearby).
This may be the sweetest song ever recorded, meaning the guitar, the lyrics and the voice. It was great in "Frampton Comes Alive," but by golly, I believe it doesn't get any better than this. This is the actual audio recording from "Live In Detroit" but I illustrated it with photos of Peter Frampton from today as well as way back then. One of the amazing things about Frampton is his ability to put his heart and soul into a song he's played thousands of times, always different, and always beautiful. I guess his ever changing interpretation of the music is what keeps it fresh. He's a dynamic performer which is supported by the fact that his newest album "FINGERPRINTS" has just been nominated for grammys in two categories. Cheers, PF. I hope you all enjoy.
