Peter Frampton Live July 12, 2008 in Santa Maria California, at the Santa Barbara County Fair And yes, Peter did ask for an Egg Roll on a Stick with Teriyaki through his talk box (there was a chinese food trailer nearby).
I wonder how you're feeling There's ringing in my ears And no one to relate to 'cept the sea Who can I believe in I'm kneeling on the floor There has to be a force who do I phone The stars are out and shining, but all I really want to know... Oh won't you show me the way I want you ...show me the way Well, I can see no reason You living on your nerves When someone drops a cup and I submerge I'm swimming in a circle I feel I'm going down There has to be a fool to play my part Well someone thought of healing, but all I really want to know... Oh won't you show me the way (everyday) I want you ...show me the way I want you day after day I wonder if I'm dreaming I feel so unashamed I can't believe this is happening to me I watch you when you're sleeping, and then I want to take your love Oh won't you show me the way (everyday) I want you ...show me the way I want you day after day Oh won't you show me the way (everyday) I want you ...show me the way I want you day after day
Peter Frampton live -- While My Guitar Gently Weeps @ The Santa Barbara County Fair, Santa Maria, California - July 12, 2008 Peter Frampton, concert six on our summer calendar, was spectacular. He kept the crowd on its feet for the entire concert. Frampton is such a fantastic guitarist, definitely one of the greats. The set-list was wonderful. There were the standard hits, some of the newer stuff from the Fingerprints album, as well as, some surprises like the classic Motown hit Shotgun, for the opener. What a great experience, my wife and I both agree that Peter Frampton is a great concert destination for one and all. His band is also worth mentioning. This group really compliments Peter's fantastic guitar performance and superbly showcases these wonderful songs. Peter Frampton was an original member of Humble Pie. This was one of the first supergroups of the 1970s. He has been a major rock influence ever since. He gave us the greatest live album ever recorded with Frampton Comes Alive. He has even scored a recent Grammy. My wife mentioned that including a Humble Pie song in the set-list, maybe 30 Days In The Hole, would really display this man's long, extensive, and consistent influence on the music industry. Go see Peter Frampton, he does not disappoint. FMD
Peter Frampton, a flippin' legend, drops Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" on an unsuspecting and remedial Chicago crowd. Good times (and confusion) ensue!
In the 70's, Peter Frampton was one of the biggest arena rock stars around. His album Frampton Comes Alive has sold over 16 million copies worldwide. Frampton's newest effort is a collection of instrumental pieces with a diverse mix of Latin balladry and American soul influences. It features collaborations with members of the Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, The Shadows and The Grateful Dead. Credits: Post -Production:Scott Rogo - TRT Productions
This may be the sweetest song ever recorded, meaning the guitar, the lyrics and the voice. It was great in "Frampton Comes Alive," but by golly, I believe it doesn't get any better than this. This is the actual audio recording from "Live In Detroit" but I illustrated it with photos of Peter Frampton from today as well as way back then. One of the amazing things about Frampton is his ability to put his heart and soul into a song he's played thousands of times, always different, and always beautiful. I guess his ever changing interpretation of the music is what keeps it fresh. He's a dynamic performer which is supported by the fact that his newest album "FINGERPRINTS" has just been nominated for grammys in two categories. Cheers, PF. I hope you all enjoy.
