From "Air Lyndhurt": Dark Rise, Velvet Choker........................ ..........Note on the rejected EU Constitution and Lisbon Treaty:The people of France and the Netherlands rejected the proposed EU constitution in the 2005 referendums. After this, other countries cancelled a promised referendum and the EU Constitution was re-written as an "amending treaty" or a "reform treaty" and named "Treaty of Lisbon". On the basis of this deceit, they claimed that no referendums are necessary on the Lisbon Treaty. Ireland was constitutionally required to hold a referendum and on the 12 June 2008 the people of Ireland gave a resounding No to Lisbon. Yet this vote is not being respected and the rule of law is being ignored. The EU leaders agreed at the June 19-20 EU Summit that ratifications must go on. Moreover, no other government is asking the people. The Lisbon Treaty establishes a new "European Union" with joint citizenship - an EU "federal" State that is technically and politically empowered to centralize more power in Brussels. The treaty also stipulates the militarisation of the Union in order to 'police the world' just like the US does today......................... .........To view the Political Groups in the European Parliament go to: http://www.europarl.europa.eu/ embers/expert.do?language=EN..................................EU Member States:Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, United KingdomOther states in Europe:Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Faroes, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Transdniestria (Transnistria), Belarus, Turkey, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Abkhazia, South Ossetia.

London: 21 July 2008The Dark Knight - FanCam - Long Version is on www.lsq.tvIt all started for me at six thirty this morning. I checked the web cam and rushed out to claim my spot. Just as well. The whole day the crowd swelled for this European Premiere and Christian Bale and the crew came along to wow the crowd. Plenty of costumes in the crowd with costumes galore and much good spiritedness. A lovely day too for this huge premiere with all the trimmings. Flames, Red carpet with Bat-Insignia, Genuine Bat Mobile with patented throaty roar as it sped up the red. Plenty of action for fans. Many autographs got signed and posed but it rather depended on where you were. Loads of media from all over Europe and further afield. Sir Michael Caine brought some gravitas to the proceedings. He spent lots of time with the fans and was as cool as always is. Plenty of pushing and shoving today, especially when the main stars came along.Premiere organised by: DDA Public RelationsStars in attendance:Christian BaleMichael CaineAaron EckhartMaggie GyllenhallChristopher Nolan - Director, Writer and ProducerCelebs spotted:Sandra "Sibi" BlazicNoel ClarkeFreema AygemanJohn SimmGary LinekerMcFlyTamara BeckwithMedia in attendance:Sky NewsChannel 5 NewsCapital Drive TimeBBC Radio 2 Radio Five LiveHeart/LBCBBC NewsGMTVITN NewsDe Roder Loper BelgiumAllo Cine.Fr FranceAPReutersStar TV ScoopVesti RussiaMTV NewsCNN The Screening Room USAJIM BelgiumMoviebeatITN OnOrange FranceWireImageThe Wright StuffTVN PolandThe Fix and Movie BeatSIC Mulher PortugalMyspaceThe Times OnlineIn Focus KuwaitXpose, TV3 (Ireland)ITV.comSky ShowbizMy MoviesAbu Dhabi TVDigital SpyLove ShowbizBig Brother's Little BrotherLeicester Square TVRadioPrint Group 1Print Group 2As usual, please let me know of omissions, errors and comments. http://www.egs.edu/ Jacques Derrida in his Paris seminar "A Critique of Psychoanalysis", a reading focusing on texts from Gilles Deleuze. Public open video lecture with students of the European Graduate School EGS, Media and Communication Studies department program, Saas-Fee, Switzerland, Europe, France, 2004Jacques Derrida (born July 15, 1930 -- October 8, 2004) was an Algerian-born French philosopher, known as the founder of deconstruction. His voluminous work had a profound impact upon continental philosophy, French philosophy, and literary theory. Derrida taught philosophy at the Sorbonne, and from 1964 to 1984 at the École Normale Superieure. He completed his Thèse d'État in 1980; the work was subsequently published in English translation as "The Time of a Thesis: Punctuations". Beginning with his 1966 lecture at Johns Hopkins University, at which he presented his essay "Structure, Sign, and Play in the Discourse of the Human Sciences" (see below), his work assumed international prominence. In 1967 Derrida published his first three books — Writing and Difference, Speech and Phenomena, and Of Grammatology. Until his death Derrida was director of studies at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. With François Châtelet and others, he co-founded the Collège international de philosophie (CIPH) in 1983, a research institution intended to give a place to philosophical research and lectures which could not be carried out elsewhere in the academy. He was elected as its first president.Derrida held a series of visiting and permanent positions. In 1986 he became Professor of the Humanities at the University of California, Irvine (which now has a major archive of his manuscripts). He was a regular visiting professor at several other major American universities, including Johns Hopkins University, Yale University, and New York University, and The New School for Social Research. Derrida was a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and received the 2001 Adorno-Preis from the University of Frankfurt. He was awarded honorary doctorates by Cambridge University (after a great deal of controversy), Columbia University, The New School for Social Research, the University of Essex, University of Leuven, and Williams College. In 2003, Derrida was diagnosed with aggressive pancreatic cancer, which reduced his speaking and traveling engagements. He died in a Parisian hospital on the evening of Friday, October 8, 2004.
